Video Databases

You can search for education videos by using the library search box or one of the databases below.

Films on Demand
A streaming video database that offers over 30,000 titles. The videos cover a variety of academic subjects, from producers such as BBC, PBS, Meridian, National Geographic, and more. Links can be shared through email, integrated into WebCampus, or viewed in the classroom.
Kanopy Streaming
Offers a variety of documentary and feature film from an impressive array of producers and distributors. Thousands of films are available as part the library’s subscription. Other titles may be discovered and requested for library purchase through the Kanopy interface. Must be accessed using the Google Chrome browser.

Video Resources

The University of Nevada, Reno Libraries subscribes to a number of different streaming video collections. With these video databases, you can log in with your NetID for immediate access to streaming content over the internet. See the Streaming Video Collections page for more information.
