About this Guide

This guide is a starting point for research in the environmental sciences. Each tab has one aspect of research within the field with ideas for places to search, tips for effective searching, and places for more information.

Articles/Research Databases:  The best place to start for peer-reviewed articles and newer materials. Search by topic, author, or find a particular journal title.

Books: The books, journals, films and other materials owned in the UNR Libraries, both physically and online. Search the traditional classic catalog. Search WorldCat to find books to borrow from other libraries using our Interlibrary Loan Service.
