Interlibrary Loan for Theses and Dissertations

Still unable to find the full-text of a dissertation?  Looking for an older dissertation or a Masters thesis? Try placing an Interlibrary Loan request.

Often colleges and universities keep duplicate copies of their students' works.  Interlibrary Loan may be able to borrow copies in print or on microfilm.

When placing an Interlibrary Loan request for a dissertation or thesis, please provide the following information, if possible:

  • Exact title
  • Author
  • Year Earned
  • Degree (Doctoral, Master's, Honors)
  • Institution

Although we cannot guarantee we can borrow a copy, it's always worth a try!

NOTE: Interlibrary Loan is a service available to current University of Nevada, Reno students, faculty and staff. Charges apply for Community Borrowers. For information on our Borrowing Policies, FAQs, Campus Express (On-campus delivery of books and online delivery of University of Nevada, Reno articles), and information for other libraries, please visit our Interlibrary Loan page.
