Search the LINK+ Catalog
What is LINK+?
LINK+ is a catalog of more than 4.5 million unique titles available from over 60 academic and public libraries throughout California and Nevada. This service allows current UNR students, staff, faculty, and community borrowers to request a book not readily available at UNR Libraries.
Be sure to check LINK+ before filling out an Interlibrary Loan request (ILLiad) or placing a hold on a UNR book that is checked-out (recall).
How to use LINK+
If a search of the UNR Collection provides 0 results or the book is unavailable in our catalog, click the LINK+ pass-through button.
This will open your current search in the LINK+ catalog. Paying close attention to the format – no Electronic Resources; Music Recordings; DVDs, VHS & Blu-Ray; Audio Books; Microform – select a book record to request. Select Univ of Nevada Reno as your institution, enter your first and/or last name, your library barcode, then hit submit.
Status of LINK+ requests

Additional LINK+ Services
|LINK+ books can be delivered to a library near you, for pickup while you're away from the library where you are registered.
If your library is participating in this service, you will notice new choices when placing a request. Choose from a number of different pickup institutions and have your LINK+ materials delivered to the most convenient location. Look for this service when requesting any LINK+ item.
Items must be picked up during regular library hours. Please check the pickup institution's hours before you visit.
|Expanded Item Pickup Service - Participating Institutions|
|Many institutions that are members of LINK+ participate in its Visiting Patron program. This program allows a patron from a participating LINK+ library to use his/her library card in person at another participating LINK+ library. Items are checked out through LINK+ and are borrowed for the same time period as a LINK+ request.
When visiting another library that participates in Visiting Patron, please have your library card and ID present at the time of checkout.
