Study, Work & Event Spaces

Welcome to some of our favorite places to study and collaborate. For a complete list of spaces, please visit Library Locations and Work Spaces

Shhhh: Quiet Work

In addition to the graduate student Pillsbury Room, the entire 5th floor of the Knowledge Center is a quiet study sanctuary. Choose a small table by the expansive windows and bask in the natural light or select a table next to a wall or the interior of the floor to reduce any distractions. We also recommend the desk and table spaces on the 4th floor for reading and quiet study needs.

Collaborative Work

The Knowledge Center and the DeLaMare have a variety of locations that can be reserved for group study.

  • The Lilli Brant Room, a collaborative study room and event space located on the 3rd floor of the DeLaMare Library, offers comfortable armchairs, ottomans, and movable conference tables and seating.
  • Media Nooks on the 3rd-5th floors of the Knowledge Center offer lounge chairs clustered around large video screens and convenient laptop plug-ins.
  • Group study rooms on the 2nd-5th floors of the Knowledge Center seat between 6-10 people. The 4th and 5th floor rooms can be reserved in advance while the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms are available on a first come, first served basis.
  • Visit Group Study Locations for more information including a link to the room reservation portal.

Event Spaces

Several spaces in the Knowledge Center and DeLaMare Library can be used for events and/or receptions. See Event Spaces for more information.
