Tips and FAQs about the best ways to find and use online library materials

Creating Permalinks for articles on PubMed

How to create a constant link in PubMed that will access UNR's full text.

  1. Locate the article that you want to link.
  2. Copy and paste the PMID from under the citation/abstract into the search box.

  1. Append the PMID to the end of this string: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/

The URL should then look like this: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30066301

  1. Add the UNR library proxy prefix to the front of the url:

    http://unr.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30066301
