How to Request Items

Request a book located in the Knowledge Center

Books in the catalog with status NOT CHK'D OUT may be requested to pick-up by clicking the Request this item button at the bottom of the record. Enter your NetID & password, select a Pickup Location and hit Submit. If you do not have a NetID, use the right side of the form by typing your first or last name and the barcode on your library card. 

Request material from MARS

Material located in MARS with status NOT CHK'D OUT may be requested to pick-up by clicking the REQUEST IT button within the  Location field of the record. Enter your NetID & password and hit Submit. If you do not have a NetID, use the right side of the form by typing your first or last name and the barcode on the back of your library card. 

Request books through LINK+

For books not readily available in our catalog, try LINK+. If our copy is status DUE MM-DD-YY or if your search produces no results, hit the LINK+ button near the search box. 

Request material through Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Our ILL service allows users to request books and copies of articles that they cannot otherwise access from UNR Libraries or online. Please visit the ILL guide for more information.

Request UNR Libraries' material through Campus Express

Undergraduate students, Graduate students, Staff, and Faculty affiliated with UNR may use Campus Express to request articles and book chapters - available within the UNR Libraries' - to be scanned and sent via email. Graduate students, Faculty, and Staff who have a campus mail stop may request books - available within the UNR Libraries' - to be delivered.
