Offering streaming through their Swank Digital Campus service, Swank Motion Pictures is the nontheatrical distributor for the majority of the major Hollywood studios as well as many independent, foreign, art house, and documentary offerings. To search films that are available for licensing, go to: www.swank.com/digitalcampus

Instructors can request films using this form: http://guides.library.unr.edu/acquisitions/media . It takes up to 7 business days for Swank films to become available. If you have questions, please contact the Libraries’ acquisitions team at erasbuy@lists.unr.edu.

Creating Direct Links

You can acquire direct links to licensed films by using the "Copy Direct Link" or "Copy LMS Link" on the bottom right of the video player as seen below:

Swank Playback : System Requirements

Swank Digital Campus requires Google Widevine (an integrated component of Chrome) for playback on a laptop or desktop computer. It is recommended that desktop users view films in Chrome.

To access Swank Digital Campus on a mobile device, install the Swank Media Player App.

Firefox, IE, and Safari users have to download Google's Widevine Media Optimizer plugin.  You should be presented with the option to download the plugin when accessing the Swank Digital Campus platform.

In Chrome, no plug-in installation should be necessary. Widevine CDM is now a component of Chrome.
