The Artemisia yearbook was published from 1899 through 2008, providing photographic documentation of the people and events shaping the history of the University of Nevada, Reno. In 2013, the University Libraries, in collaboration with LYRASIS and the Internet Archive, digitized the entire run of the Artemisia. The Internet Archive, founded in 1996, is a non-profit resource offering permanent access for researchers, historians, scholars, people with disabilities, and the general public to historical collections that exist in digital format. LYRASIS is a non-profit membership organization that offers member libraries and cultural heritage organizations the opportunity to contribute materials to a regional mass digitization project. The LYRASIS Digitization Collaborative is funded by the Lyrasis membership and supported in part through a grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. The University Libraries acknowledge the efforts of the LYRASIS staff and the financial support of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation in making the Artemisia available online.
No Artemisias were published in 1895-98; 1906-07; 1909-12; 1915-16; 2000.
